2020 Graduate Show

Due to the Covid-19 crisis many graduate shows around the UK have been cancelled or postponed. This unfortunately has lead to a cohort of students being unable to reap the benefits that a physical graduate show offers.

Along side a group of final year Graphic Communication students we decided to take their 2020 graduate show online with the goal to connect with audiences and employers from all around the UK.

The branding for the show was rooted in the idea that progress is not linear. In order to progress students must embrace the twists and turns that will inevitably come their way. Graduates will choose different directions; careers will take unexpected detours.

Alongside the online exhibition, FORWARD has curated a series of talks and Q&A’s with leading designers from all around the UK. These talks serve to inspire and educate students as the next generation of designers looking to break into the creative industries.
